Good afternoon Grizzlies,
Today we had a team meeting. Our team discussed how we should work on our wheel covers and came up with some ideas. Christina, who is outreach lead, has been working diligently on updating brochures. The outreach group is now finding some sponsors to help support us. We split up and worked on PowerPoints for our fundraising ideas to present to Mrs. Bardwell. Ian has been working on our data and has come across a problem that we needed to help with. The team has been working very hard to help us win each race and hopefully get us to Indy. Answer to Friday’s riddle: I went home Inspiration of the day: “Our greatest weakness lies in giving up. The most certain way to succeed is always to try just one more time.” Thomas Edison Our team faces problems every day, but we have to overcome them. That means that we can and will fail but eventually we will succeed if we try hard enough. With more to come, Ella

SkullGood Afternoon, Grizzlies
Today we are working in the classroom. We took our safety test to make sure we understand all rules. Our design team is working on drawings from our previous ideas. We came up with some good questions to help better our ideas for the challenge. The questions helped us think about the logistics of our ideas. After coming up with many fundraising ideas we are having to create a final list of the top ideas. Our spirit night is coming up soon on September 6th at Chick-Fil-A. Spirit nights are a great way for us to raise money to help our team. Answer to yesterday’s riddle: Skull Riddle of the day: My teacher told me to have a good day, so what did I do? Today we came up with a list of things we need/want. We have been working on our gear ratios quite a bit in preparation for our upcoming races. Our design challenge team is still on the drawing board and is trying to create designs for our nose cone. The design challenge is making or 3D printing a functional addition to our Greenpower car and that helps us in some way. For the challenge we have come up with many ideas that can help us win. We sent a group check gear ratios and to see what we wanted to change them to that could be beneficial to us on the different tracks. Our team has made a lot of progress since we now have our positions and know what to do. Today's riddle: I don't have eyes, but once I did see. Once I had thoughts, but now I'm white and empty. Today we discussed our main ideas for battery connectivity and we looked at our data from previous races. We then split up into groups for each of our jobs. We had a group go down to the shop so they could come up with some ideas for the design challenge. The group came up with some pretty good ideas that could help us win the challenge. With more to come, Ella So today we decided all the minor positions. We decided the blogger the blogger assistant and stuff like that. We decided on what we need to get for the car. We decided on a new component box and a motor controller to maximize performance on the f24 car. We hope to be the best this year and make it to Indy and be awesome. With the fundraisers we decided on yesterday we have been trying to find the right prices for what we’re selling. All the money we make will go to the car and saving up money to go to Indy.
With more to come, Josh Yesterday we worked on electing our 3 leaders build, public relations, and overall team leaders. We went through a campaign process where all candidates created a presentation on why we should vote for them. Then we did an anonymous vote and put the votes in a box and then Mrs. Campbell counted the votes and we had our leaders. After that we worked on fundraising and decided ways we could earn money to get what we need for the car to be at its best during our races. we also worked on presentation to present our ideas to the principal so they could be approved and we could make the money needed to get the car to its best. We decided on six fundraising ideas to make the money needed for the car.
