What we do

We are a team of 7th and 8th grade students at Mountain Gap P-8 in Huntsville, Alabama. We participate in the Greenpower Challenge, a STEM Initiative, where we design and build our one-person electric car named "Lightning McGreen" to race against other schools and teams. We have successfully competed in several GreenpowerUSA races, however, we are constantly looking for new ways to improve our car. Our team has many innovative ideas to improve our car, but don't have the funds to make our dreams a reality.
